Sweet Chilli Sauce

  • 100g rice vinegar
  • 70g honey
  • 10g fish sauce (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 10g ginger
  • 50 chilli
  • 30ml water
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce


  1. Place finely chopped chilli, ginger and garlic in a saucepan. Add vinegar, honey and soy sauce (fish sauce is optional, it will give sauce quite a strong smell, some people don’t like it).
  2. Bring all to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes. In a small bowl mix water with cornstarch and add into a saucepan. Bring back to a boil and cook for another 2 minutes.
    The sauce is ready, enjoy!
